Engineering Residential Learning Community

Engineering Residential Learning Community

This residential learning community is located in Academic Village (AV) – Engineering Hall and offers Engineering students an academically supportive and fun environment. Residents can take advantage of design studios, collaborative work rooms, and an electronic classroom. Residents can also take advantage of nightly tutoring (Sunday-Thursday), general advising support in the form of weekly advising drop-in hours, a live-in “Faculty-in-Residence” and live-in Graduate Academic Coaches (GACs), as well as several Engineering Peer Mentors who are returning students living in the hall to support the students with their personal and professional development. Although space is probably available in the designated residence hall, there is not a guarantee students admitted to this community will be placed in AV – Engineering Hall for the 2023-2024 academic year.

How to Apply:

Fill out the application

To be a part of the Engineering Residential Learning Community (ERLC), students are encouraged to choose Academic Village (AV) – Engineering Hall as their housing option through the housing application.  Please note that housing prices vary between residence halls and an additional ERLC programming fee ($200 per semester) will be assessed to students who apply, are admitted, and are assigned to AV – Engineering Hall.  This fee covers the cost of hardware and software within the Engineering Design Labs and AV classrooms, costs associated with the in-house AV Student IT Help Desk, support for ERLC programming and events, as well support for the AV – Engineering Tutoring program.

For more specific housing cost information, please visit the Housing and Dining Services website at: https://housing.colostate.edu/

During the housing application process, you will be directed to fill out the ERLC supplemental application. It’s the same application linked above. You only need to fill it out once.
